Over neutral waters of the Norwegian sea at certain stages of the route Russian planes were accompanied by fighters F-16 air forces of Norway.

They were accompanied by the F-22 for the U.S. air force.

The flight of the Russian aircraft were performed in strict accordance with international rules of using air space. The aircraft did not violate the borders of other countries.
