Laying vessel " Akademik Chersky ", which is supposed to continue the construction of the pipeline " Nord stream - 2 ", ceased to belong to " Gazprom ", follows from materials of the organization.

in June it was announced that the vessel has Samara thermal power property Fund (STIF), and that, for his part, was part of the group " Gazprom ". However, in the past the list of affiliated persons of the organization on 30 June, the Fund is no longer listed.

The STIF is the current legal entity and exists under the same name, follows from the data of the Unified state register.

"Gazprom" has received the vessel "Akademik Chersky" in 2015. From 2016, it was under the operational control of " Gazprom fleet." At this point in time the Pipe is in the German Desk Mukran logistic base of the " Nord stream - 2 ".

The project "Northern stream - 2" involves the construction of 2 pipelines with a total capacity of 55 billion cubic meters of gas per year from the coast of Russia through the Baltic sea to Germany.

Washington in early winter has imposed penalties Against the project, demanding from the organizations leading strip, to immediately stop the construction. Swiss Allseas in practice, once said about temporary suspension of works.

Russia many times stated that the Project is only commercial in nature and beneficial to the European partners.
