The 67-year-old actor - who is currently starring in British movie `Made in Dagenham`, based on the true life story of women in the 1960s striking for equal pay at a car factory - admits he is constantly thinking about retiring from his profession but keeps finding new work.

Speaking on the red carpet at the movie`s world premiere at the Odeon Leicester Square, Bob told BANG Showbiz: "I`ve been trying to retire for the past two years. I`m still thinking about it, very strongly."

However, despite his retirement plans, he does believe he would be willing to work on a follow-up to 1988`s `Who Framed Roger Rabbit` with director Robert Zemeckis.

He said: "They want to do it in the same format but when I met Zemeckis he said, `Yeah we`re gonna do it like this,` I said, `Yeah, but I`m 67 now, a bit old,` he said, `Yeah, but the way we`re going to do it...` They want to do it in the same format as `Christmas Carol`, well that looks like a cartoon. But yeah, I`m up for it."

Discussing being the male lead in `Made in Dagenham` among so many women - including Jaime Winstone, Sally Hawkins and Miranda Richardson - Bob added: "They are some of the best actresses in England. You`ve got Sally Hawkins, who is brilliant. Her performance in this is very astonishing."

`Made in Dagenham` is released in the UK on October 1, ahead of a worldwide release in the US and Israel in November.
