Ben Barnes felt like superhero on Narnia Ben Barnes felt like a "medieval superhero" in `The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader`.

The 29-year-old British actor reprises his role as King Caspian in the fantasy adventure sequel and loved getting the chance to do his own stunts.

He said: "I personally got to do more action stuff.

"There`s something about being in handcuffs and trying to take on five guys at the same time. It just makes you feel extraordinarily like a medieval superhero.

"There`s nothing quite like it for your ego - a massive stuntman takes the falls for you when you know that any one of them could crush your skull. It was all the most amazing fun."

Ben was particularly thrilled to work on the third film in the series because it was always his favourite of C. S. Lewis` books when he was a child.

He added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I genuinely loved the books as an eight year old and I loved going back for `Dawn Treader` which was my favourite novel of the whole series.

"It`s been 20 years since I read the book but you still remember these things and to see them take form in front of you, on a film set, was such a treat."
