The pop singer turned fashion designer announced her pregnancy in January and it has been confirmed she and husband David will have their first girl.

A representative for the couple spoke only to confirm the news, saying: "Yes, it is true."
The baby daughter will join the couple`s three sons, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz.

Speaking of his wife`s pregnancy this week, David, 35, said: "She`s great, she`s very healthy. She`s feeling good. She`s in London at the moment working.`

"We`re very excited. It`s an exciting time for the family."

Victoria - who is expected to give birth this summer - has previously said about the sex of her baby: "We know what to do with a boy. The kids are excited about having a little brother to teach how to play soccer. But, if it`s a girl, we`d be over the moon as well."

Victoria`s friend, actress Eva Longoria, is said to planning a baby shower for the family at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles.
