A Thousand Suns shining in Moscow Stargazers in the Russian capital will have a chance to observe an unusual phenomenon this Thursday as the Dark of the Moon will be exposed in broad daylight in the heart of Moscow.

΄The music marvel is the brainchild of Linkin Park. The American band will play live for thousands of rock fans, promoting their single "Iridescent" featured on the latest Transformers: Dark of the Moon Soundtrack.

This is a slightly different Linkin Park - softer and slower than usual as the song relates to desperation and devastation.

Those in a state of depression have said that Linkin Park was really the only kind of music they could relate to when feeling blue. The "Iridescent" single helped some overcome an emotional crisis.

While other fans can be heard saying "it`s nothing like their old songs", just take a listen to Blackout, Wretches and Kings or When They Come for Me.

In fact, change, transformation, evolvement are quite natural for any band. It is the signature style, though, that remains recognizable throughout the years.

Authors of the Hybrid Theory and A Thousand Suns manage to mix rock with elements of electronica, hip-hop, metal and pop.

It is the vibes, the moods and the lyrics that turn their songs into hits featured in explosive action robot movies like the Transformers saga.

Hollywood`s latest 3D-adventure will have its world premiere at the Moscow International Film Festival that will kick off on June 23, with Michael Bay and lead actors also in town.
