One of the world?s top footballers, Cristiano Ronaldo, has set the date of his wedding with Russian lingerie model Irina Sheik.

ªAccording to Portuguese media, the ceremony will take place at Madeira, Portugal on July 12 next year.

It is exactly 11 days after the final of Euro 2012, which Ronaldo is planning to win as part of the Portuguese national team.

The Real Madrid superstar got acquainted with Irina Shaykhlislamova, known under the nickname of Irina Sheik, on set of an Armani ad one-and-a-half years ago.

This February, on Valentine`s Day, the 26-year-old footballer proposed to his girlfriend. He introduced her to his parents in May.

A native of the Chelyabinsk Region in Siberia, Sheik has appeared on the covers of the most prestigious fashion magazines, and the 25-year-old is now the face of Sports Illustrated.
