Keely Shaye Smith - who married the former James Bond star in 2001 - says she was left "sore, ill and injured" after visiting the R&D Kitchen in Santa Monica in October 2009.

While it is not known what Kelley ate, she claims she "sustained serious and permanent injuries to her health, strength and activity".

According to TMZ.com, Keely - who has two sons, Dylan 14, and 10-year-old Paris - is asking for unspecified damages in the lawsuit.

Despite being a Hollywood heartthrob, Pierce, 51, recently said he is more in love with his wife than ever and has never been tempted by his sexy co-stars.

He revealed: "There are a few ladies out there who capture my heart cinematically. And working with them is one of the perks of my job. I can dance the light fantastic with anyone I like on screen but Keely and I both know that what I do there is fantasy not reality and that I hang up my hat and come home to the one I love.

"I was blessed to find my Keely and she`s still the only woman for me."
