MOSCOW, November 9 - The Supreme Court of Russia has rejected an appeal lodged by convicted Chechen terrorists who had earlier won a case against Russia in European Court of Human Rights, a RIA Novosti correspondent reports from the courtroom.

The judges upheld the prison sentences ranging from nine to 15 years that were originally handed down.
