The `Hold It Against Me` hitmaker accepted her boyfriend`s marriage proposal in Las Vegas on 15.12.11, and despite being wed twice before - for 55 hours to friend Jason Alexander and two years to Kevin Federline - her loved ones, including father Jamie and mother Lynne, are delighted at the development.

A source told RadarOnline.com: "Brit`s folks are simply over the moon that Jason will become a member of the family. Her parents love and trust Jason with their daughter.

"For a long time it was uncertain if Britney would ever be able to find true happiness and love, but Jason is so patient, so loving and understanding and fully supportive of Britney. Jason is very close to Britney`s mother, Lynne."

Meanwhile, it has been reported Jason surprised Britney with a Neil Lane-designed engagement ring featuring a round stone and pave diamonds.

A source told UsMagazine.com: "It`s very traditional. He picked out something he knew she would love."
