Russia introduces restrictions on Polish meat MOSCOW, November 10 - Russia is introducing restrictions on imports of Polish beef, pork and poultry meat, sources from the Russian Ministry for Agriculture said.

"Starting from November 10, temporary restrictions are introduced on imports of beef, beef by-products, pork, pork by-products, poultry meat, minced poultry meat and raw convenience food from Poland," the sources specified.

The decision came as "cases of rude violation of veterinary legislation in the supply of animal products from Poland, as well as falsification of meat products supplied to Russia from Poland are getting more and more frequent," ministry sources emphasized.
