Director Fyodor Bondarchuk has begun shooting of a new film. A novel by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky "Inhabited Island" formed the basis of a plot.

That is fantastic story about a distant planet which survived nuclear war. Young terrestrial found himself there and he had to become a soldier of local secret police.

Director is going to invite the majority of actors from his last film "Ninth company" to his new production. Famous dramatist Eduard Volodarsky is now writing a script for the film.
