The `Diamonds` singer - who recently reconciled with her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown despite the fact he is still on probation for assaulting her in 2009 - is said to have split from her British stylist Avigail Claire.

A source told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "`Rihanna is going through a metamorphosis and wanted a different direction,".

The 24-year-old singer, who recently chopped off her hair ahead of the release her new album `Unapologetic` next month, likes to regularly experiment and switch up her image and is well known for her ever-changing hairstyles and risky wardrobe.

The diva`s decision to move in new direction follows news that the UK reality TV series `Styled To Rock` - which she produced and made guest appearances on - is unlikely to be recomissioned for a second series.
The first episode of the fashion series, presented by fashion designer Henry Holland and Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts, attracted just 95,000 viewers on Sky Living.

A source said: "There are no plans to bring it back. Commissioners lost confidence in the project. It is far too early to make a decision.

"After every big launch, we undertake extensive research and will make a decision when we evaluate the results."

Rihanna has been spending all her time in the studio recording her new album recently but sources said she will be disappointed her show was not a huge success.
