4.4 magnitude quake struck took place in the evening of Saturday in the south of land of Baden-Vurtemberg. German news channels reported about that.

According to Fraiburg police, the epicenter was "on that side of German-Swiss border in Laufenburg (Swiss Aargau) but shock could be sensed within a radius of 110 kilometers. There was no information about any destructions on German territory.

But alarmed city-dwellers called to all local official channels and asked about second shocks, however seismological service makes no forecasts yet, TV channels say.

The previous earthquake with 3.2 magnitude was registered in the middle of May of this year in Fraiburg.
