State Duma passed the law in third reading which makes drinking of beer and other alcohol drinks illegal at public places.

426 delegates voted for passing the law, there were no votes against or abstainers.

Law project introduces amendments to Russian Code about administrative violations. The penalty for involving under aged into beer drinking will be 1-3 minimum wages. The same penalty is established fro drinking at children, educational institutions and also in public transport and other public places.
