Russian institute studying the problems of present-day family relations and marriages interrogated Russians about sex and love.

It came to light that over last two years, more than 11% of Russian women and 7,2% of Russian men avoid sexual contacts.

According to the results of public opinion poll more than 5,2% of married couples desist from sex, and most of them feel happy. Curiously, educated people are more inclined to avoid sexual relations than those who don`t have higher education.

It should be noted that aggressive propaganda of sex in most sources of mass-media doesn?t concern all Russians. Some people want to protect themself from sexual contacts and have only spiritual relations.
