Head of Chechen State Council withdrew his candidature from elections The causes, which forced Djabrailov to make this decision, are not named.

Elections to Chechen parliament are called on November 27, 2005. Djabrailov should be a candidate from single member constituency.

It was informed earlier that Djabrailov was in list of "Unified Russia" party, which is considered as minion of forth-coming elections. But recently Djabrailov was crossed out of list. This step sufficiently reduced chances of the State board head to win elections.

The place of Djabrailov in list of ?Unified Russia" was taken by state vice-premier, the head of Chechen Ministry of agriculture Dukuvah Abdurakhmanov. First vice-premier of Chechen government Ramzan Kadirov wanted to see the latter candidate in party lists instead of Djabrailov.

Since premier of republic got into car accident, all questions of election organization are under Ramzan Kadirov`s control. He insisted on introduction of "own people" to party lists.

By November 23, already 7 registered candidates for delegates handed in rejection applications to regional election committees of Chechnya.
