To guard Habarovsk artesian wells 24-round policemen posts stand near them.

As press-center of Habarovsk city administration informs, questions of population supplying with drinking water in case city water supplying point had to be turned off was discussed at session of city committee of emergency situations. "This can happen if dangerous for human life chemical substances will reach town through Amur river".

Places of artesian wells are determined in city. Water for theses sources will be delivered to apartment regions by schedule. 60 cisterns, which underwent special treatment, will be used for this purpose and they will deliver about 2 thousands cubic meters of water to population every day. Experts of sanitary epidemic control intend to put disinfection pill in every cistern.

Trade network of necessary amount of bottled water will be created soon. Prices are under strict control.

"To citizens, who are disabled and can not buy water in the store, services of social protection will deliver water to home", - was noted in press-service.

"In the view of possible water supplying points closing an inspection for fire fighting units was made. Fire fighting cars will have access to departmental sources of water".
