International Space Station (ISS), even at present unfinished state, can play an important role in preparations of USA flights to Moon and Mars.

American scientists, in particular, consider expedient to increase number of cosmonauts, who keep watch on station. At present moment Russian-American expedition on board of ISS consists of 2 people. By 2008 it is necessary to enlarge number of crew to 6 people.

USA National Academy of Sciences is aware that National administration of aeronautics and space investigation, having budget problems, can underestimate importance of ISS in preparations to international flights.
