As a result of a storm a large autonomous sea trawler (BATM) has been run aground in Kamchatka.

The department of Emergency Control Ministry in Kamchatka region informed RIA "Novosti" BATM was run aground near a bay Babiya not far from Petropavlovsk at about 5:00 local time.

According to the representative the waterlogged ship is now lying sideways and oil spill is possible.

According to provisional data there were no crewmen onboard at the time of the accident.
