By estimates of Chinese experts, spread of pollution at Sungari river increases by 5-6 kilometers every day. This was informed be press-service of Far East regional center of Emergency Ministry.

By data of Far East administration of hydremeteorological service, taking this tendency and peculiarities of Amur river-bed into account, spread of pollution zone can amount to 200 kilometers as waters reach Habarovsk. This zone can pass Habarovsk within 4-5 days.

"By data of Chinese consulate general in Habarovsk, front of pollution zone reached Ikhantun settlement, this is 460 kilometers from Amur river. Spread of pollution zone is about 110 kilometers. During a day pollution zone moved with rate of 1-1.5 kilometers per hour and passed about 30 kilometers", - said in regional center.

Chinese authorities agreed to place groups of Russian experts at left side of Sungari river. They will test water and send results to Habarovsk over satellite communication.

"To reduce consequences and to control passing of polluted spot along Amur river 121 people and 39 units of technique are drawn, including: aviation - 2 units, automobile - 19 units, special - 18 units", - was announced in press-service.

"By results of conducted work, there is no threat to population on Habarovsk and Jewish autonomous oblast territories", - emphasized in press-center.
