Pakistani security services almost captured the head of international terrorist network "Al-Qaeda" Usama ben Laden, as Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf has announced.

"We concentrated our efforts on one region and got extremely close to the goal. At present moment we try to find out if ben Laden is alive or not", - noted Pakistani leader in interview, published this Saturday. In opinion of Musharraf "Al-Qaeda" is some sort of "phenomenon in terrorism".

"Capture of ben Laden seems like symbolic goal but neutralization of terrorist leader is an important step in liquidation of whole organization", - said president of Pakistan.
