In Piemonte and Liguria provinces hundreds of automobilists were blockaded in huge traffic jam because of powerful snowfall. Automobilists spent 14 hours in jam. Situation has stabilized only today in the morning.

Trees are broken in Milan, many cars are damaged. Public transport is out of service. Flights in international Milan airport have been postponed.
