In the context of the scale agreement on armament delivery to Iran Russia also agreed with Teheran on modernization of Iranian military planes SU-24 and MIG-29 of Soviet production, informs the newspaper "Vedomosty".
The contracts under consideration were signed in Moscow in the end of November. The largest of them was the agreement on delivery of 32 anti-aircraft missile systems "Top-M1"
Its value amounted to 700 million dollars. Total sum of agreements constitutes one milliard dollars. As for military aircraft, partly they were delivered in early 1990s, partly belonged to Iraqi air force, but were expropriated by Iranian government.
