State Duma is going to introduce management responsibility for smoking tobacco outside special places.

As expected deputies are giving the bill its first reading on Friday, 9 December. The bill was initiated by Moscow city Duma and would make alternations to the code of administrative delinquencies.

According to this new initiation of bills, the new article will be added to the code of administrative delinquencies, which would establish management responsibility for smoking tobacco outside special places, i.e. on city and local transport, at work places, on air transport with flight duration less than 3 hours, in enclosed sports constructions, public health organizations, education, culture, lodgments for organs of government.

According to the bill after the first infringement the warning is given. If within a year the second infringement is fixed, culprit will be imposed a fine at the rate 3-5 minimum dimensions of remuneration of labor.

The presidium of "United Russia" group suggested on Monday sitting to pass the bill while its first reading.
