Near Kurile island Rasshua a fire has started in hold of Russian trawler "Captain Kazancev".

"Puffs of smoke came out of first hold, where 4 tons of sea products and pasteboard packages were located. Engine-room walls started to warm up", - informed the source.

Crew of the ship poured water to the hold until fire was stopped. There are no victims among 19 members of crew.

At present moment trawler "Gornyy" stays near the ship, which met with an accident, for security reasons.
