Now Russia carries on negotiations with Ukraine about conditions of supply of Russian gas to Ukraine. Ukrainian country is ready to purchase 17 b of cubic meters of gas at the price of $50 for 1000 cubic meters, and 8 b of cubic meters at the price of $80-82 for 1000 cubic meters, and is going to preserve value of Russian gas transit at the level $1.09 for 1000 cubic meters per 100 kilometers.

"Gazprom", which represents the Russian country is still persisting in Ukrainian buying gas at-the-market $160 per cubic meter since the beginning of 2006 and is going to upvalue transit. Now countries have agreed upon purchase amount for 2006 - 51 billions of cubic meters - but the question of payment still remains undecided.
