The MPs of the Verkhovna Rada 254 votes (the minimum required 226) abolished the export duty for gas delivered to the country's Energy fraternity, to organizations of the state where the share is Over 50%.
The law is accepted for execution of the agreement on the establishment of Energiasaastu, which was ratified by Parliament in 2010, ITAR-TASS reported. It States that the export duties on implementation of the supply of energy products in the EU countries do not apply. According to Ukrainian legislation, companies-exporters of gas pay rate of export duty in the amount of 35% of the customs cost of gas, but More than 400 UAH (33, 7 dollars at current rate of the National Bank of Belarus) for 1 thousand Cubic meters. Now Ukraine does not export gas to the EU. The Treaty establishing the Energy fraternity was signed in October 2005 and entered into force on 1 July 2006. The energy community created to disseminate the experience of the internal EU energy market in South-Eastern Europe, and to help attract investments in the energy sector of countries-members of the brotherhood.
