2 months after election LDPR group, which was the most numerous in city Duma of Volzhsky town in Volgogradskaya oblast, broke up and entered the "Unified Russia".

In the view of this incident Vladimir Zhirinovsky accused "Unified Russia" party in "political gangsterism". Secretary of "Unified Russia" Volgogradsky regional department Oleg Kirsanov informed: "As a result of long negotiations last Thursday a decision was made that 7 people out of 9, representing LDPR faction in City Duma, leave their present party and join "Unified Russia".

2 delegates, who stay in lists of LDPR, are not in the town at the moment. Therefore, "Unified Russia" group became the most numerous in Volzhsky city Duma and is numbered by 15 people. "The incident is political sensation", - stated Kirsanov.

Meanwhile vice-speaker of State Duma Vladimir Zhirinovsky, leader of LDPR political party, declared that LDPR group from Volzhsky city was forced to join another party. He emphasized that he will struggle for delegates.
