The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine agreed with the initiative of the Ministry to make public joint stock company " Trunk gas pipelines of Ukraine " and " Underground gas storage facilities of Ukraine ", subordinating them to the " Ukrtransgaz " instead of " Naftogaz of Ukraine " directly, UNIAN reports. 100% of the shares of the new JSC will be in state ownership. According to the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers ordered the Ministry of energy and coal industry of Ukraine to take measures to halt the execution Naftogaz function operator GTS and lay it upon the state company Ukrtransgaz. The Ministry and the state property Fund together with Naftogaz and the " Ukrtransgaz " also instructed to draft the statutes of the new joint stock companies and to provide the transfer of property for transportation and storage of gas, RIA " Novosti ". In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers recommended that the Naftogaz and Ukrtranshaz immediately lead to contractual relations with transit pumping gas in congruence with the Third energy package of the EU.
