European championship in basketball, which in 2015 had to take Ukraine, will be transferred to another country, said in a statement released microblog on Twitter European branch of the international basketball Federation (FIBA Europe).
June 13 passes meeting of the Bureau of FIBA Europe. The right to host the championship of Europe-2015 in the beginning was Ukraine. In March of the current year the tournament Director Markiyan Lubkivsky said that the unstable political and economic situation in Ukraine makes it impossible to hold the Eurobasket. First of 16 countries expressed their readiness to fully or partially to participate in the matches of the tournament.

" The Council of Board of Directors decided to transfer the Eurobasket-2015 from Ukraine to another country ", - reads the statement of the organization.
