Grand events, devoted to closure of Year of Russian Culture in Byelorussia, will take place in Minsk.

As press-service of Byelorussian Ministry of Culture informed, series of events will be opened by performance of State Academic Central Theatre named after Sergey Obraztsov in concert hall "Minsk". Russian actors will present 2 famous plays "Cat Vaska" and "Little tragedies".

The culmination point will become performances of State Symphonic orchestra "New Russia" under leadership of Yurii Bashmet and of State Academic Chamber Chorus, known as "Chorus of Minin". Concerts will take place on December 22 in Great hall of Byelorussian state philharmonic.

Events will be finished on December 22 with exhibition "Traditional culture of Komi nation", which will be placed in National museum of Byelorussian history and culture.

Year of Russian Culture in Byelorussia started on April 20 with festival in Byelorussian state philharmonic.
