The pogrom of the Russian Embassy in Kyiv is " not a very good idea, " said Director of the program on arms control and foreign policy of the Brooklyn Institute first U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Steven Pifer.

the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation expressed outrage such provocative actions and asked in a persistent form on the Ukrainian side to take all necessary measures to maintain the security of Russian diplomats in Kiev. The Ministry told that the Ukrainian authorities had not taken measures for protection of the Embassy of the Russian Federation, and that Moscow regards this as a gross violation of international obligations of Ukraine. However, as stated before, the Western countries have blocked in the UN security Council proposed by the RF message condemning the attack on the Russian Ambassador's residence.
