Moscow hotels not to be managed by capital authorities Moscow government has declared about the intention to sell all owned share holdings of capital hotels.

In opinion of the head of Moscow property department Vladimir Silkin, hotels are assets attractive for investors, and private business will govern them more effectively.

As a reminder, Moscow government sold 100% of "Ukraine" hotel stocks for 7 milliards and 881 millions rubles at open auction, which was held on November 23. It should be mentioned that according to investigations, conducted by Business Travel International company, hotels in Moscow are considered the most expensive in the world. Today average cost of the room in Moscow hotel amounts to 165 pounds or $291.51. Comparing with last year, prices in Moscow increased by 29%. Experts explain that majority of Moscow hotels are owned by local companies, which prefer their property to be ranked as 5 stars.
