The Verkhovna Rada on the proposal of the President dismissed by Stepan Kubiv from the post of head of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Such decision at the meeting of Rada on Thursday endorsed 302 parliamentarian with the necessary minimum of 226 votes.

Kubis said yesterday that wrote the message about the dismissal. During his work as the head of the national Bank the national currency is devalued almost on 40%. Some bankers accuse him of opaque refinancing of credit institutions.

The media say that Kubis has the possibility to be appointed by the Governor of Lviv region. The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko yesterday submitted to the Parliament the proposal to appoint the head of the national Bank Valery Gontareva.
