The Ukrainian Parliament has given its consent to the President to appoint the first Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Yarema to the post of Prosecutor General of the country.

Relevant draft resolution supported 329 parliamentarians with the necessary minimum of 226 votes. Then the head is obliged to sign the decree on his appointment to this position.

The candidacy of the new Prosecutor General showed in Parliament himself the head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

Yarema meet in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the power block. Yesterday the head of the deprived workplace Oleg Magnitnogo as acting Prosecutor General, and appointed his Advisor. According to the Constitution, the head of Ukraine may appoint and dismiss the General Prosecutor with the consent of the Parliament.
