Russian team "KamAZ-Master" had to address to technical commissars of the race for help after third stage of rally-raid "Dakar-2006".

The cause became the breakage of turbocharging in lorry of last year`s winner of the rally Firdaus Kabirov. Malfunction occurred in bivouac after first African stage in Er-Rachidia (Morocco).

After examination of crash circumstances technical commissars allowed changing of the broken device. It was established that the breakage was initiated by the leak of engine oil. Mechanical engineers installed new turbocharging at night.

Therefore, the crew of Kabirov, Belyaev and Mokeev can participate in next stage, which takes place between towns Er-Rachidia and Uarzazet on January 3. Last year`s champions are on 9-th place in class of lorries, losing more than an hour to the leaders - "KamAZ" of Vladimir Chagin.
