During special operation of rebel`s group annihilation in Dagestan 2 soldiers of emergency plat died, 7 policemen and servicemen got wounds.

By tentative data of Dagestan Ministry of Interior Affairs, 5 rebels were killed and 1 was wounded.

The source in ministry informed that special operation was interrupted till morning. Encirclement of canyon, where rebels are located, was strengthened. It is planned that intelligence and assault detachments will resume the search of the region at dawn.

The fight in Untsukulsky district of Dagestan started on Tuesday morning. It was informed that group of rebels, 5 people in number, was blockaded in mountains near the Shamilkala village. Later it became known that there are 8 people in the group. During the fight they separated into 2 groups - 4 people in each.

Special operation is led by Dagestan minister of Interior Affairs Adilgerei Magomedtagirov. By his words, the gang consists of rebels from Rasul Makasharipov group. Magomedtagirov informed that gang is led by Omar Sheikhulaev, being in search.

Dagestan minister insists that gang was transferred from Chechnya for preparation and realization of terrorist actions on territory of Dagestan.
