The head of the NATO foreign Ministers agreed to honor the Founding act Russia-NATO
Vladimir Dobrovolskiy. The head of the NATO foreign Ministers agreed not to disturb and not to change the Founding act, the NATO-Russia from 1997 to secure allies, told reporters authorized NATO on completion of the working dinner for Ministers.

on Wednesday, NATO decided to extend the suspension of practical cooperation with Russia in connection with its position on Ukraine and Crimea. Political contacts in the framework of the Council Russia-NATO at the level of ambassadors and above will continue.

" the overwhelming number of Ministers stressed that we should not continue to violate the principles of the Founding act. We believe in him and are required to continue not to break it, while Russia violates it. All agree that We are obliged not to violate it, " said Commissioner of the Commonwealth, who wished to remain anonymous.

" There is an agreement about the fact that any actions on strengthening of the Commonwealth will not violate the Founding act ", - he added.

according to him, the head of the countries-members of NATO will discuss a long-term strategy with regard to Russia, at a conference in the UK in early autumn.

in 1997, Russia and NATO signed the Founding act on mutual relations, cooperation and security, creating a total permanent Council Russia-NATO. In 2002 established the Council Russia-NATO Council (RNC).
