Kovalchuk: transfer of Scythian gold Ukraine - violation of laws Museum
If the collections of Scythian gold Museum in the Crimea will be transferred to Kyiv, it would set a bad precedent, will violate the laws of museums and force Crimeans to appeal to international court, says the head of the Public chamber of the Russian Federation on culture Andrey Kovalchuk.

The collection of Scythian gold was removed from the Crimean museums on exhibition in archaeological Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam in early February, even before the Crimea joined Russia. Today at the Museum exhibits claim the Ukrainian side. The Ministry of culture of Ukraine said Thursday that the exhibits will be returned to Kiev, because recognized as state property of Ukraine. University of Amsterdam, which owns the Museum, not confirmed data on the transfer of gold Kiev.
