President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev signed the decree about introduction of amendments and additions to law "About state symbols of Kazakhstan".

New state hymn is based on song "My Kazakhstan": the author of music is Shamshi Kaldayakov, the author of text - Jumeken Najimedenov. By initiative of Nursultan Nazarbaev text of the song was corrected.

Document also states that "while public performing of Kazakhstan hymn one should listen to it standing, putting the palm of right hand on left side of chest".

Till present moment the musical composition of Soviet period was considered for the hymn of the republic.
