The Russian Federation chief sanitary inspector Gennady Onischenko anticipates the need to block the boarders with Turkey in case of negative development of bird flu situation.

"If the situation grows worth, then, complying our actions with World Health Organization, we are going to prohibit", said Onischenko in Monday, answering the question about the necessity to prohibit Russians to depart to Turkey.

At the same time, the head of Federal Service for Monitoring Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellfare underlined, that at present there is no such need. "For the time being our measures are rather recommendation", noted Onischenko.
