Estonian spy detained in St. Petersburg An employee of the shipbuilding plant is detained on suspicion of espionage, informs St. Petersburg Federal security service administration.

The detained person is suspected in passing the secret documents to Estonian special services. According to Federal Security Service data, the package with secrete schemes was discovered in the course of inspection of a bus going from St.Petersburg to Tallinn in September 2005. After long operational work, Russian officer, having access to those documents, was detained in the end of December.

The detained, appeared under the pseudonym "Zaitsev", admitted his guilt.

During several years he passed to the Estonian special services material of defense character. He was promised to receive assistance with moving to Estonia and accelerated obtaining citizenship for it. Intercepted documents constituted 45 pages with schemes, labeled as "top secret", concerning Russian military ship working out.

Federal Security Service officials suppose, that "Zaitsev" was enrolled by former soviet serviceman, who used to work in secrete department of one of the military units, and who became Estonian counterespionage member.
