In Kirov region in the framework of anti epizootic measurements against bird flu special sanitary units organized, ten people for each district.

This decision was made at the meeting of Kirov region Veterinary Administration, battery farms chief veterinarians, chiefs of district farm livestock decease stations.

Disinfection unit are distributed, five units are officially assigned to each district.
In 12 battery farms of Kirov region buttery livestock constitutes over 2.7 million heads. The whole livestock is stable to acute infection deceases, including bird flu. All battery farms operate in closed regime. All birds livestock undergoes daily clinical examination, serologic monitoring for detecting bird flu virus antibodies is also conducted.
