The head of General administration of Interior Affairs over Stavropoulos krai, major-general of police Vyacheslav Matveev died in traffic accident, informed law machinery organs of the krai.

On Sunday morning Matveev with 27-year old son were driving office car "Mersedes" from Stavropoulos airport, where they saw off wife of the general.

In Spakovsky district "Mersedes" collided with lorry "Ural". 3 people have died - driver of office car, Matveev and his son.

Operative-investigational group is working on place of traffic accident. As regional Office of Public Prosecutor informed, supposedly case will be instituted by article 264 part 3 of Russian Criminal Code (violation of rules of transport exploitation, leading by carelessness to death of 2 or more persons).
