The fire in Moscow children`s trade centre "Sovenok" is localized, informed Moscow fire fighting service official.
"At the moment fire spread is stopped, no people are injured in the accident", said the official.

He informed, that the area of fire is about a thousand square meters. Extinguishing the fire is complicated as many fire-plugs are frozen. Three emergency teams are repairing them.

The trade centre is reported to be cordoned off by militiamen. Neighboring trade centers are operating in their normal mode.

Moscow children`s trade centre "Sovenok" was reported to be on fire at about 2 p.m. Moscow time.

The ignition was reported to appear on the ground and the first floor.

Mass evacuation of people from the trade centre rooms has been carried out. The fire has been assigned second number of difficulty of 5 marks scale.

There are 20 fire brigades at the scene.
