Dagestan Supreme court condemned Makhachkala citizen to 25 years of imprisonment for murder of 5 policemen.

Member of criminal community "Shariat", 31-year old Rustam Abdullaev returned guilty by 7 articles of Russian Criminal Code, including article 317 "infringement on lives of law machinery officials".

Abdullaev was detained on March 6, 2005. Investigation came to conclusion that he was a member of terrorist group headed by Rasul Makasharipov, who was annihilated in July of 2005 during special operation in Makhachkala.

State prosecution demanded maximum punishment for Abdullaev - life imprisonment. Trial was held with participation of jury, which discharged a prisoner at the bar of 2 charges. Jury completely discharged Shamal Abakarov - the second accused in this case.

Abdullaev will spend 5 years in prison and remaining term - in colony of strict regime.
