As a result of breakdown at oil-main pipeline "Druzhba" in Penza oblast an oil leakage of 20 tones occured.

This was informed by press-service of Volga-Ural regional Emergency center. The cause of the breakdown became flange break at oil-main pipeline in Kuznetsk town.

"Because of safety rules` violation during regulation works at oil-main pipeline "Druzhba" about 20 tones of oil ran out. The area of leakage is 1200 sq. meters", - added representative of Emergency Ministry. The part of pipeline between 2 flanges is shut down. There are no victims.

The distance between apartment houses and a place of accident is about 2-3 km.
