Russian State Duma has voted for Russia to enter international Agriculture Organization of the UNO FAO on Friday, having drawn it up with appropriate Act.

It was noted at the State Duma session that the document had been prepared in reply to President`s charge from January 26 2005, which charged the government to present proposals on concrete steps for Russia to enter FAO.

FAO interests include agriculture, forest and water economy, fishing, international trade of these industries production, food security, rural areas social development, environment protection, technical and humanitarian mutual aid, said in the explanatory note to the question.
