USA Senate has introduced resolution about toughening of sanctions against Iran. It is interesting that one of resolutions` demands is ban on weapon supplies to Iran from Russia and China.

"Worldwide and total ban on weapon sale to Iran is needed", - was said in resolution.

The same document says that decision of Russian government to sell weapon to Iran at cost of milliard dollars arouses pity and will harm American-Russian relationships.

Document also contains an appeal to UNO Security Council to introduce strict regime of international examinations of MAGATE activity.

As a reminder, in December of last year Russian minister of Defence Sergey Ivanov confirmed conclusion contract with Iran about antiaircraft emplacement supplies. The minister has also announced that any Russian treaties on weapon supplies meet international norms. Antiaircraft emplacement "TOR" is an average-ranged air defence complex, which can be used only for protective purposes and not for battery. Complex "TOR-M1" refers to 5-th generation of antiaircraft equipment and can effectively oppose aviation and cruise missiles.

It should be mentioned that Iran can become the third largest consumer of Russian weapon. It is important for Russia because main clients - China and India - have already chosen almost all modern national weapon and search for partnership with West.
